Friendship Sheep Update 3, and Some Blackberries

Hello hello! I know it's been a while. It's been difficult to find the time to blog, to be honest. I've been stitching as much as I can, but the whole process of taking pictures and uploading them onto my computer and then sitting down to write this... It's a bit much for me at the moment.

So I've decided to cut myself some slack. I'll post when I can! It might not be as often as I used to, but that's going to have to be okay. I've got to stop being so hard on myself!

All right, now that my little pep talk is over. Let me show you guys what I've been up to. First, I made some progress on Blackberry House by Plum Street Samplers. To see my last progress on this piece, you can go here.

Since my last progress post, I finished stitching the leaf I was in the middle of, plus I added another leaf and two more berries. I'm really happy with how this piece is looking. It's growing so well!

Then I got some work done on my Little Sheep Virtues stitching.

This is Friendship at 400 stitches (can see my last progress here).

And here it is at 500 stitches:

So since my last update I've finished the purple heart, added the math, started the two yellow flowers, and worked on the border some more.

I'm happy with my stitching the last couple of weeks. I'm just sorry that life's got me so busy I can't keep up with everyone and keep you all updated as much as I'd like.

Lots of love,

Hi Sarah, don't be sorry, I think that many of us are finding that life is busy, too. And when it comes down to it, after you have done all the things that you HAVE to do, sometimes when it is a choice between blogging and stitching - Stitching wins, for me, at least. Great progress on both your pieces, I really like the bird on Blackberry House, I hadn't noticed him before - really pretty.

Post as often as you can and feel like it. The main thing is that your stay with your blog and that we can read from time to time what you are up to.
Nice progress on both your pieces.

Yep, we're all feeling the same! :)
Don't worry about it, the main thing is that you enjoy stitching!!
You've made great progress on both projects but the first one has to be my favourite.

I think lots of us can relate to your lack of time! I always prefer to stitch than blog. I spend time every day at work on the computer and don't want to start working on it when I get home. I would never give up blogging though and I hope your stick with yours when you can.

I love everything you're working on but the Blackberry sampler is special.

Monthly updates are fine, it will just look like you've stitched loads!
I didn't even start my blog until my son was over 2 years old.
Lovely work on both designs this time. Nearly reached another sheepie!

finding time to blog seems to be a problem for plenty of people at the minute. I barely have time to make anything to blog about!

Sarah I feel the same way...would much rather be stitching that taking photos and finishing projects. Post when you can and enjoy the process of the stitch.

I've been out west for the past six weeks and need to catch up with everyone which is taking alot of time too. I'm so glad I was able to see your lovely Plum Street design. I just finished my first one the sunflower house and loved doing it. And I'm in the middle of doing the virtues too. They are such a lovely series and friendship is such a pretty one. Great job on both. RJ @stitchingfriendsforever
