The August Gifted Gorgeousness SAL, Plus Courage Sheep Update 4

Another really quick post while baby naps! It's the 15th of August, which means it's time for the Gifted Gorgeousness SAL, Jo from Serendipitous Stitching's baby - we stitch on something that's been gifted to us through exchanges or giveaways, whether a pattern, kit, fabric, floss, whatever, and post on the 15th of the month.

A couple of months ago I started working on Plum Street Sampler's Party Tarts, which was technically a birthday present from my father. You can see my last update here. And here's my progress this month:

Last month I finished the donkey, and now I'm halfway through the elephant.

A little more done on the weekly Little Sheep Virtues SAL:

This is Courage at 400 stitches. Just more stitching on the border and the middle flower. Nothing too exciting!

All right, that's about all I've got time for today. I'm trying my best to keep up with everyone's blogging, but forgive me if it takes a little while!

Happy xxx's!

I am proud of you Sarah. You get blog posts out, get some stitching done and a bit of sewing too. All with your little man about! Good for you!!

Great stitching on both projects!
I thought of you today as I have been playing with my sewing machine, shortening a pair of curtains ;)

Thanks for taking part in GG this month. And for explaining about the symbolism of the animals last month!
Like Vickie, I am impressed that you manage to keep up with stitching and blogging too.
