The February Gifted Gorgeousness SAL

All right, it's the 15th of February, which means it's time for the Gifted Gorgeousness SAL Feburary edition! This is Jo from Serendipitous Stitching's baby - we stitch on something that's been gifted to us through exchanges or giveaways, whether a pattern, kit, fabric, floss, whatever, and post on the 15th of the month (because it's 2015).

In the January edition I had started a sweet little kit given to me by Shirlee from The Easily Influenced Stitcher, Bent Creek's Free Betsy. And now I've finished it!

I was really happy with this kit. The last Bent Creek kit I stitched didn't have enough of one of the floss colors, so I had to make a substitution. This one had plenty! And it was a beautiful combination of DMC, WDW, and GAST. The fabric is 25 ct. Dublin Flax linen.

This was an absolute pleasure to stitch. I have the perfect fabric to finish it off, too, I just need to find the time. And I'll have to pick my next project for the Gifted Gorgeousness SAL!

Lots of love,

Thanks for taking part in GG this month. Shirlee's sheepie is so much fun. You've done a great job stitching him up.

That is one cute sheep! So glad that the kit had enough of everything you needed. Shirlee chose a fun design for you!
