Stashin' and Dashin'

Okay, I went a little crazy shopping, online and in person. Not too crazy, I promise!

First off, let me share a lovely little parcel that Lija from Stitching in Crosses and More sent me. I'd forgotten that I'd won her giveaway a little while ago, and once I'd realized who the parcel was from (standing in the post office looking confused), I was surprised at how quickly it got here all the way from England!

I won a bunch of little charts from her, as well as some of her own home-dyed fabric and a few adorable stitching-themed charms! She also sent me a great London postcard. I love London. Sigh. Thanks again, Lija!

A little while ago I splurged on eBay and bought some Wisper threads I've been drooling over for a while. I found them at a very reasonable price so I bought a few different colors. You know, just in case. And I got some Belfast linen from the same store. Because you always need some linen, right?

Now, the post office is very conveniently located right across the street from a row of fabric stores. Isn't that nice of them? So I had a little mosey across the street and picked up a couple of yards. They were just so pretty! I also got a great pair of new fabric scissors.

So, that's it! Told you, it wasn't that bad. I've been really trying to control myself. Just enough to be giddy! :D

All right, I'm off to the airport now for my sister's wedding. See you next week!

Lots of love,
