And Just Like That...

...the states on the American Flag Quilt are done!


I've finished up the very last state square, Hawaii, the Aloha State. It joined the union on August 21, 1959, rounding it up to 50 states.


I'm still far from finished - I have a couple of quilt squares and a lot of backstitching left to do - but this is a huge milestone! It's kind of bittersweet, too. I'm going to miss this piece so much when I'm done!
