Hi folks! I'm back! It feels SO good to be back home. The couple of weeks in Yemen were interesting, exciting, refreshing, but it's always nice to be back home among your own things, isn't it? I'm still exhausted from the trip and I need to unpack and do piles of laundry and clean the house, but I wanted to show you all something that I sent before I left:
A while ago, Kerry from Ramblings of a Biscornu Addict asked me to send her a postcard from Dubai to add to her collection. I took this as an opportunity to spoil her a little. So I made her a tiny, itsy-bitsy biscornu:
That's the same biscornu! I stitched the two sides on 14-count beige Aida with completely different designs, in DMC 4200 and 4025, respectively. Here's the package with her:
I added a couple of charts, some Madeira floss and quilting thread, some tapestry needles, and, of course, the postcards. I'm so glad she liked it all!
